It is the intent of AssistList to provide a safe, healthy and secure environment for all employees and volunteers. Team members are responsible for ensuring that your work is performed in a safe manner, and that it is in compliance with WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, any other applicable provincial and/or federal laws and/or regulations, and any AssistList policies, procedures and other requirements that may apply. All possible preventive measures must be taken to eliminate accidental injuries, occupational diseases and risks to personal security.
For employees, your responsibilities as defined by the Workers Compensation Act (WCA) are:
Work in a safe manner at all times to prevent injury to self and others.
Carry out work in accordance with established safe work procedures.
Refuse to perform unsafe work.
Report all unsafe acts or conditions to your supervisor or manager.
Each team member is responsible for following and enforcing rules and procedures of the AssistList workplace. Violations may result in temporary or permanent removal of the team member from AssistList.
