AssistList is made possible by our volunteers

Our volunteers bring their skills, experience and ideas to help us improve access to home health equipment and support the communities we serve.

Whether you're looking to build experience, contribute your professional skills, meet people or simply give back, we want your time with AssistList to be meaningful and rewarding.

What you can expect

We also understand that everyone has different schedules and interests. Your level of involvement will depend on the role or areas you choose to volunteer in.

Volunteer roles

There are many ways to contribute to AssistList. You may volunteer within one team or contribute across multiple areas depending on your interests and skills.

• Customer Service
  Help users navigate AssistList, respond to questions, and support a safe and positive experience on the platform.

• Healthcare
  Bring healthcare knowledge and a user-focused perspective to help us improve our equipment information, resources and platform.

• Community Development
  Build relationships with community organizations and help expand AssistList's reach across BC.

• Digital Marketing
  Help spread the word about AssistList through social media, online content, campaigns, and community outreach.

• Design & Multimedia
  Create graphics, content and other materials that help communicate AssistList’s work and make the platform easier to use.

• Technology
  Help develop, improve, test, and maintain the AssistList.ca platform and the technology that supports it.

• People & Culture
  Support recruitment, onboarding, volunteer coordination, engagement and team culture.

• Grants, Fundraising & Finance
  Help identify funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, support fundraising activities, and track our finances.

• Operations & Administration
  Help keep our internal processes, documentation, systems, and day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly.

You don't need to have experience in every area. We encourage you to contribute where your skills and interests are the best fit.
