Our Team

How AssistList Started

AssistList was founded by Kevin Chow, an occupational therapist who saw a recurring problem in his work with clients.

People often needed home health equipment but faced financial or other barriers to getting it. At the same time, families frequently had equipment they no longer needed but didn't know where to donate or sell it. Kevin saw an opportunity to connect these two groups.

After sharing the idea with Tricia and Daruvin, the team began researching, developing, and building a solution. AssistList.ca officially launched in 2018.

Today, AssistList continues to be powered by volunteers who believe that access to equipment should be easier, safer and more affordable, and that usable equipment should have the opportunity to help someone else.
